Throttle simulation
This script is simulating the function of a throttle on a NOT self centring joystick axis.
The position of the axis will set the cruise control speed and activate or deactivate the cruise control. You have to assign this axis in the settings (Throttle Axis +/-)
You can enable/disable the script (Throttle on/off), at begin of the game it’s always disabled. Standard assignment is [left ALT + 3]. With enabling, the standard cruise control will no longer work.
You can switch between two modes, 0 – max speed or 0 – 20 km/h, for that, you have to assign the button (Throttle full/reduced)
Important:
As you define the maximum speed of the helper with the cruise control, you have to set the throttle to max speed before you hire them, otherwise, they will work only with 1km/h
